These shoes fit the bill. The suede is flexible and soft and contours to your foot. They fit like a glove (or a foot-glove at any rate). The stripes on the side are a little shinier than I thought they might be - but I think they'll grow on me. The sole is also a bit unusual - I feel like I'm lifted up off the ground. But these things aren't deal-breakers, they're more just interesting commentary as a result of shoe-shopping online. I love them though and the only thing I'd change is lose the laces. It's be great if they were more of a slip-on, as I tend to just tuck the laces away and not tie them.
